Victoria Hall gears up for fete
MADURAI: The Victoria Edward Hall here is all decked up for its centenary celebrations for which massive arrangements have been made.
Briefing presspersons here on Wednesday, Hall secretary I. Ismail said that keeping in line with its social commitment, the administration had involved all sections of the society, boys, girls, men and women in the celebrations. The four-day celebrations, which start on January 4, include a boys’ mini-marathon for college students from Alagarkoil and for school students from Kadachanendal. The destination point of the event, which is restricted for boys, is the Victoria Edward Hall. More than 300 students had registered for the events, the secretary said.
