Sonia Gandhi’s condition stable

NEW DELHI: Congress president Sonia Gandhi, who was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital here late on Monday and diagnosed with chest infection, is “making steady progress and has been advised further rest.” Chairman of the Board of Management of the Hospital B.K. Rao said: “She had a comfortable night and slept well. Her progress is steady and she is responding well to treatment. She is being looked after by a team of doctors which is keeping a close watch on her progress, and it is for them to decide when she will be discharged.”
