For us, people are important. Any decision that we take should serve the larger interests of people, but not to suit the needs of a section of traders. I will visit One Town area to have first hand information. We can’t allow heavy vehicles on Canal Road without considering all possibilities, as it will lead to traffic chaos. We need to examine the demand of the traders carefully.”
