Chennai: Sports Authority of India ‘B’ recorded a dramatic 3-2 win over former champion, Integral Coach Factory, with the match-winner surfacing in the extended penalty corner after regulation time, in a senior division hockey league championship for the Rajaraman Shield on Wednesday. Karthik netted both goals for ICF in the first half. . SAI maintained pressure and conquered the rival defence when Vinod Rayar scored in the second half. A penalty corner hit by Raja brought in the equaliser and Vinod’s second strike following a penalty corner proved to be the winner. The other match between Tamil Nadu Electricity Board and Southern Railway ‘B’ scheduled for the day was postponed.
