Kancheepuram is champion

Coimbatore: Kancheepuram, by virtue of its first innings lead against Coimbatore, emerged champion of the TNCA under-15 inter-district cricket tournament in Coimbatore on Wednesday.

Coimbatore 133 (G. Sri Vardhan 76, Vijay Anand four for 26) & 190 for eight (Dheer Bhimani 50, Bharath Chezhian 51, Vijay Anand four for 38) vs Kancheepuram 227 (Vijay Anand 80, S. Chandrasekhar 44) & 56 for no loss in 24 overs.
