Two over ground workers arrested in J&K

SRINAGAR: Two over ground workers of the Lashkar-e-Taiba and the Al Badr outfits were arrested in Jammu and Kashmir, a defence spokesman said here on Thursday.

In a joint operation with the Special Operations Group of the Police, troops of the 13 Rashtriya Rifles launched an operation and apprehended an OGW of the LeT on Wednesday. The arrested man has been identified as Abdul Hamid Ganai and he was a close associate of LeT militant Asadullah Parrey, who managed to escape. In another operation, troops of the 32 Rashtriya Rifles apprehended an OGW from Tragpur area of Baramulla district, the spokesman said. — PTI
