Novel attempt: The gift packs that have been launched by public sector undertaking Fomil.

ALAPPUZHA: Foam Mattings (India) Limited (Fomil), a public sector undertaking based here, is coming out with a gift pack that promises novelty based on coir.

The PSU, which has been attracting foreign business groups to its wide range of coir products and is attempting to gain a foothold in the foreign coir market, has released gift packs of footmats, carpets and floor decors, all made from coir and jute fibre.

The products, the State-level launch of which was done by Minister FOR Cooperation and Coir G. Sudhakaran here recently, come in two packs, priced Rs.175 and Rs.300 each,

Fomil Managing Director S. Ratnakumaran said in a press release.
