Thrissur: The Olarikkara Sree Bhagavathy Temple Devaswom will confer the title, ‘Mathangarajan’, on the elephant Indrasen owned by the Guruvayur Devaswom, on Thursday. Avanapparambu Maheswaran Namboodiripad will speak at the function. Superintendent of Police T. Chandran is expected to take part in the meeting. ‘Anayoottu’ (feast for elephants) will follow.
