Kannur North leading in school arts fete

Kannur North has secured four points more than Payyannur when 150 items are over

PAYYANNUR: The Kannur North educational district continued its lead with 349 points on the third day of the revenue district schools arts festival being held here on Thursday.

When competitions in 150 items were over in the high school general section, Kannur North has secured four points more than Payyannur. Taliparamba is in the third place with 290 points.

In the upper primary general category, Thalassery South is leading with 162 points with Kannur South and Kannur North closely following with 159 and 158 points respectively.

Payyannur has scored 137 points in the HS Sanskrit section, while Taliparamba North and Mattannur bagged 134 and 131 points respectively.

In the UP Sanskrit category, Payyannur has secured clear edge with 141 points, while Madayi emerged second with 127 points. Kannur North and Taliparamba South shared 114 points each.

In the High School Arabic competitions, Panur maintained its lead with 128 points with Madayi and Kannur North in the second and third positions with 120 and 114 points. Panur is also leading in the UP Arabic section with 105 points.

Kannur North and Madayi secured 92 and 89 points respectively.

In the TTI Kalolsavam, Kadambur TTI is in the first position with 102 points while Peringathur TTI and Taliparamba TTI scored 96 and 90 points. The four-day school are fete would conclude on Friday.
