Lalu Prasad’s sons beaten up

Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: Two sons of Railway Minister Lalu Prasad were allegedly beaten up by some unidentified young men at Mehrauli here while on their way to attend a New Year party. A personal security officer accompanying the siblings -- Tejaswi and Tej Pratap -- lost his service pistol in the melee for which a complaint has been lodged.

The two asked a group of young men to help them locate the venue and an altercation broke out between them. The police were not forthcoming on why the altercation actually broke out.
