Jammu: Two persons were arrested for allegedly smuggling timber in Doda district today. Acting on a tip off, police intercepted a truck at Pranoo area in Doda district and recovered 14 deodar logs worth Rs 14 lakh being smuggled to Jammu district, Senior Superintendent of Police, Doda, Manohar Singh said. The arrested persons have been identified as Abdul Hakeem Bandey and Surjeet Singh.
