Entries for film awards invited

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Chalachitra Academy has invited entries for the State government’s awards for Malayalam films of 2007. Feature films, documentaries, children’s films and short films censored between January 1 and December 31, 2007 are eligible to be considered. Awards will be given for the best book on films brought out during the year and article on films carried in the contemporaries also during the year. The application forms and other details can be had from the Academy’s office in Thiruvananthapuram, the District Information Offices, the MACTA office in Kochi and the Film Producers Association office.
