18 special trains for Sankranti festival

HYDERABAD: South Central Railway will run 18 overnight special trains between Secunderabad and Vijayawada from January 10 to 18, to clear the extra rush of passengers during Sankranti festival.

The special train, no. 0714 Secunderabad- Vijaywada will leave Secunderabad at 11.15 p.m and arrive at Vijayawada at 4.45 a.m next day. Similarly, it leaves Vijayawada at 11.15 p.m. and reach Hyderabad at 5 a.m the next day. This train will is in addition to the 12 special trains already announced a SCR press release said.
