Cycling with a mission

VISAKHAPATNAM: A former employee of State Bank of India has not only completed a world tour on his bicycle, but also completed a Health Consultant course in Washington and Ph.D. in naturopathy from California.

Anil Chakravarty, 52, who is presently on a cross-country bicycle tour of India, is on the last leg of his journey on his way back to Ranchi in Bihar. He reached Visakhapatnam on Thursday. A bachelor hailing from Ranchi, he set out on the world tour in 1990 with the message of world peace and covered 12 countries including Australia, the US, Singapore and Thailand.
