SBI ties up with India Post
Special Correspondent
ALLIANCE FOR POSTAL SERVICE: Niranjan Parsha, General Manager, SBI, Kerala circle, and Mervin Alexander, Director of Postal Services, India Post, Kerala Circle, exchanging the agreement signed between them.
Thiruvananthapuram: The State Bank of India has entered into an alliance with India Post, for making available to the public some of its services.
An agreement to this effect was signed on Wednesday. Under this arrangement,
India Post will act as a Business Facilitator/Business Correspondent of SBI and help extend banking services especially in un-banked/under-banked areas.
Select post offices will make available to the public SBI’s deposit and loan products.
