Pulse Polio programme

Chamarajanagar: Deputy Commissioner Vishwanath Reddy has said the first round of the Pulse Polio programme will be held in the district from January 6 to January 9 as part of the National Pulse Polio Programme 2008. According to a press release here on Thursday, the district administration plans to administer polio drops to 1.03 lakh children. As many as 614 centres in the district have been set up and around 2,456 volunteers will administer the drops.
