Four killed in accident
SANGAREDDY: Four persons including two children were killed in an accident during the wee hours of Thursday on National highway 9 near Rudraram under Patancheru police station limits. Sultana (39), Ghousia Begum (18), Kamar (10) and Mohammad Aizaz (10) died in the accident.
According to police, the deceased belonged to Zaheerabad and were returning from Borabanda in Hyderabad in an auto trailer after attending the betrothal of their relative. The auto was hit by a oil tanker registered in Maharashtra at around 1.30 am.
While most of the occupants were thrown out of the auto due to the sudden impact Sultana stuck to the truck tyre and was dragged to few yards. Aizaz died on the way to hospital.
