The ‘T’ factor

The ‘T’ factor continues to rattle the Congress high command. How much ever the party wants the issue not to be discussed in the media, senior most Congress leaders G. Venkata Swamy and M. Satyanarayana Rao keep harping on it with a variety of statements. It was ‘Kaka’ Venkata Swamy who stirred the hornet’s nest literally, when he underlined the need to divide Andhra Pradesh into three States. So now it’s not just formation of Telangana, but also a separate Rayalaseema. If the party high command made it known that such statements should not be made, Kaka’s demand could find support among the Rayalaseema politicians. The vociferous demand by former MLA T.G. Venkatesh for creation of a separate Rayalaseema State, in the event of Telangana being formed, thus found support from the CWC member.
