KOCHI: An Air India flight bound for Dammam from the Cochin International Airport on Thursday was delayed by about six hours after the 10-member cabin crew met with an accident at Kalamassery on the way to the airport. Their minibus ran over the median and fell on its side. They escaped unhurt and were rushed to Little Flower Hospital at Angamali for a detailed medical check-up. They were found to be fit for duty. Considering the fact that the accident may have shaken them and taking into account the safety of passengers, a new crew was pressed into service, an official of the airline said. The flight, AI 911, left at 8 p.m., he said.
