No plan to raise passport fee

Passport Officer V. Sundararaman has said that there is no proposal to increase passport fee.

Appealing to the public to ignore rumours of increase in passport fee, he said that online applications would be entertained only on the date of appointments or up to five days thereafter. No application would be accepted before the date allotted for submission
