NEW DELHI: Indira Gandhi International Airport here witnessed several flight delays on Thursday because of poor visibility conditions in the morning.

According to unofficial sources at the airport, the runway visual range had fallen below 800 metres owing to which low visibility procedures (LVP) was implemented between 5 a.m. and 8-30 a.m. on Thursday. However, DIAL officials maintained that no LVP procedures were implemented and the operations were “smooth”.While Indian Airlines had no delays, Go Air faced one delay.
