Wheelchairs distributed

Act of charity: Forest Minister Benoy Viswom gives away a wheelchair at a function organised by the Madhuvanam Sri Sathya Sai Trust in Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Forest Minister Benoy Viswom distributed wheelchairs to the disabled at a function organised by the Madhuvanam Sri Sathya Sai Trust here on Wednesday.

“Sharing the grief of fellow beings is as important as thinking about life after death,” Mr. Viswom said on the occasion.

The Minister called on spiritualists and materialists to join hands to alleviate people’s misery. He lauded the initiatives of the trust in this direction. The wheelchairs were distributed free of cost to the needy, as part of the 82nd birthday of Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
