Shakespeare comedy is back

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: An internationally acclaimed adaptation of Shakespeare’s romantic comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream is back to regale the Indian audiences.

The cast and crew of the play, produced by Dash Art Productions combines skills of 23 actors, dancers, musicians and street acrobats from a diverse range of locations and backgrounds across India and Sri Lanka. The troupe has staged over 150 shows around the globe including Roundhouse in London and Verona, Italy.

Expressing his delight to perform again in India after two years, director Tim Supples told presspersons here on Thursday that the play is like a magical experience and directing it was a big journey.
