Army recruitment rally in Guntur

VIJAYAWADA: The Army Recruiting Office, Guntur is conducting an army recruitment rally from January 16 to 21 at Police Parade Ground, Guntur to enrol eligible candidates of seven districts.

These districts are Kadapa, Chittoor, Anantapur, Guntur, Prakasam, Krishna and Nellore into the Indian Army.

Candidates hailing from any of these districts are eligible to be recruited in soldier technical or nursing assistant and solider clerk or store keeper technical categories, while solider tradesman category is open to only those belonging to Guntur, Nellore and Chittoor.

Solider general duty is open for candidates coming from Guntur, Krishna and Kadapa districts, according to a press release on Friday.

The educational qualifications required for the categories are: non-matric for solider tradesman, SSC/Matric pass for solider general duty, 10+2 or Intermediate pass for solider technical/nursing assistant and solider clerk/storekeeper assistant.

Candidates must have been born between January 18, 1985 and July 17, 1990 for solider tradesman; between January 19, 1987 and July 18, 1990 for solider general duty; between January 20, 1985 and July 19, 1990 for solider technical or nursing assistant; and between January 21, 1985 and July 20, 1990 for solider clerk or storekeeper assistant.
