Civil Supplies official trapped

JEYPORE: Manoranjan Hotta, Civil Supplies inspector of Boipariguda, was caught by vigilance officials when he was allegedly accepting bribe from one Suna Goud, president of the Maa Mahadevi Self-Help Group.

According to vigilance officials, Mr. Hotta allegedly demanded Rs. 3000 for releasing subsidy rice to the SHG.

On a tip off, vigilance staff laid the trap and caught Mr. Hotta while accepting bribe.
