ANANTAPUR: Ten Congress activists were convicted and sentenced for life by the Additional District and Sessions Court at Hindupur on Friday for the murder of B. Hanumantharayudu, MPTC member of the Telugu Desam Party of Kaggallu village in Hindupur rural mandal, . They were also slapped a fine of Rs. 5,000 each. Hanumantharayudu was hacked to death in his house in the village by his political rivals on November 10, 2002. –Staff Reporter
