Ludhiana: Eight freedom fighters have been honoured at a cultural fair organised at Mandiani, about 22 kms from here. They were felicitated at the second annual Cultural and Heritage Mela organised by Baljit Charitable Trust in the memory of renowned freedom fighter late S. Saroop Singh Johal (Kale Pani) at his native village. NRI Baljit Johal, who is the Chairman of Business Advisory Council to US President George W. Bush and Chairman of the Trust presided over the function. -- PTI
