Attack on ex-MLA: team inspects site

TIRUPATI: In a significant development in the abortive mine attack on former Chittoor MLA, C.K. Babu, a team of forensic experts from Hyderabad on Friday visited the scene of the offence for first-hand information.
The team took a critical look at the culvert under which the powerful explosive was planted. According to sources, the six-member team also inspected the remnants of the explosives used in the attack and took them to Hyderabad for detailed forensic analysis. The police remanded to custody, Kishore, brother-in-law of the former Municipal Councillor, Kathari Mohan, whose role the police and Babu’s followers are suspecting in the attack.
