Pandher’s son assaults police
Ghaziabad: The son of Moninder Singh Pandher, main accused in Nithari serial killing, on Friday assaulted and abused a police party even as a special CBI court reserved its order on framing charges against his father in a case relating to the murder of a girl.
Karan Pandher, son of Moninder, clashed with the police in the court compound after he was denied entry through VVIP gate reserved for Judges, SSP Deepak Ratan said.
District Judge, Radheysham Chaubey, ordered the police lodge a complaint against Karan in this connection.
Meanwhile, a special CBI court reserved its order for framing charges of murder, rape and kidnapping against the prime accused in Nithari serial killing M. S. Pandher in the Jyoti murder case. CBI judge Rama Jain has fixed January 8 for order.
According to victim’s advocate, Khalid Khan, the father of Jyoti, Jhabbu Lal had filed a complaint last month against the clean-chit given to Pandher by CBI.
In yet another case pertaining to Nithari killing, the father of Payal (22), Nand Lal, did not appear in the court of CBI magistrate, Sapna Mishra. The magistrate, therefore, fixed January 24 for hearing.
Nand Lal had to appear in the court as he had withdrawn his statement on November 15, 2007, accusing Pandher of raping and murdering his daughter, Payal. -- PTI
