BHEL bags Azerbaijan contract

NEW DELHI: Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has received an order from Azerbaijan for supply of transformers. The World Bank-funded contract envisages manufacture, supply and supervision of erection and commissioning of 330 kV class 240 MVA and 110 kV class, 75 MVA and 63 MVA rating transformers to be installed in Azerenerjis power transmission project, according to an official statement issued here on Friday. — Special Correspondent
