Bangalore: Presidency School defeated Parachute Regiment School by 229 runs in a Boost Cup under-17 quarterfinal match which concluded here on Friday. Needing 373 to win Parachute Regiment School scored 144 in 23.4 overs. The semifinals will be held on January 6 and 7. The scores (quarterfinals): Presidency School 276 for six in 55 overs and 199 for seven in 30 overs (S.S. Darshan 72 not out) bt Parachute Regiment School 102 in 27 overs and 144 in 23.4 overs. FAPS 201 in 54 overs and 148 for nine in 30 overs lost to SJIHS 298 for seven in 55 overs (Vigneesh 49 not out) and 50 for one in 9.2 overs.
