VISAKHAPATNAM: Kumar and Prasanth claimed five wickets each to bowl Solo CC to a 49-run win over CCV in the VDCA third division league here on Friday. In another match, Srinu’s five-wicket haul for Kent CC went in vain as the team lost to Moon Stars CC by 12 runs while chasing a target of 130. Simhachalam took three wickets for nine runs to help Moon Stars CC score a narrow win. The scores: Solo CC 269 in 41.5 overs (Ravi Chandra 50, Ishtiaq 48, S.K. Sai 31, Raju three for 61, P. Reddy three for 71) bt CCV 220 in 39 overs (R. Gowri Shankar 81, M. Ramesh Raju 34, Sumeeth 32, Kumar five for 42, Prasanth five for 56).
