Five more die of cold

Lucknow: The severe cold wave gripping Uttar Pradesh claimed five more lives on Friday, taking the season’s toll so far to 45 even as the mercury rose some notches.

Two persons died of cold in Muzaffarnagar whereas three others died in Mainpuri, Jaunpur and Basti districts. The State capital recorded a low of 5.2 degrees.
