Training programme for engineers

KOCHI: A team of 12 engineers from Sudan is arriving for a two-week training at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited’s Kochi Refinery Learning Centre.
The intensive training includes classroom and field training at the refinery. Specific area of training is Visbreaker Operations.
Visbreaker is a processing unit that increases the yield of valuable products like naphtha, gas etc. while producing furnace oil of the required specifications. Petroleum India International, a training and consultancy organisation of various public sector oil companies, is the collaboration agency.
E. Nandakumar, Executive Director, Kochi Refinery, will inaugurate the training. M.J. Mohan, general manager (HR) at the Refinery Learning Centre, Jwalagiri, Ambalamugal, will preside.
