RALLY: A view of the red volunteer march held in Kollam as part of the four-day Revolutionary Socialist Party State conference that began on Saturday. KOLLAM: The four-day State conference of the Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP) began here on Saturday with an impressive red volunteer march and rally by party cadres. The rally began from the Asramam Maidan around 4.30 p.m. and concluded at the Cantonment Maidan after passing through the Shankar’s hospital junction, Chinnakada, Taluk Cutchery junction, Main Road and the Railway Station road. The rally was led by RSP leaders N.K. Premachandran; V.P. Ramakrishna Pillai; A.A. Aziz, MLA; Kshithi Goswami, Public Works Minister of West Bengal; and Manoj Bhattacharya, MP. Kollam city was painted red, with either sides of the roads decorated with RSP flags and red festoons. The public meeting organised in connection with the State conference was inaugurated by Mr. Goswami.
