Moily confident of Congress win
Staff Correspondent
HAMPI: The former Chief Minister and chairman of the Administrative Reforms Commission M. Veerappa Moily, while refuting the charge of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) that the Congress was trying to delay the elections, has said that the party was ready to face the elections if it were held now or later. He expressed confidence that the party would emerge victorious.
Postpone
Mr. Moily told presspersons here on Saturday that had the Congress thought of postponing the elections, the BJP leader B.S. Yeddyurappa would never have become the Chief Minister.
Bellary District Congress Committee president Abdul Wahab, Koppal MP K. Virupakshappa and the former MLA Boseraju were present.
