Japanese Minister travels on Metro

NEW DELHI: Japanese Finance Minister Fukushiro Nukaga travelled on the Delhi Metro from Central Secretariat to Chawri Bazar on Saturday. He was accompanied by DMRC Managing Director E. Sreedharan.

Mr. Nukaga described the railway project as the best symbol of Indo-Japanese collaboration. The Japan Bank of International Cooperation has already funded 60 per cent of Phase I and is now funding 52 per cent of Phase II.
