Support for Sadananda Gowda

BANGALORE: Kodagu and Dakshina Kannada Gowda Welfare Association has condemned the attempts in the Bharatiya Janata Party to remove its State unit president and Mangalore MP D.V. Sadananda Gowda and warned that any action on such a demand would damage the party.

Association president Shivarama Narkodu told presspersons that there were a large number of followers of Mr. Sadananda Gowda in Kodagu, Dakshina Kannada, Chikmaglur, Shimoga and Hassan districts, who would not tolerate his removal from the top post in the state unit. — Special Correspondent
