Governor orders issue of BPL cards

BANGALORE: Governor Rameshwar Thakur has directed Deputy Commissioners of all the districts to issue BPL ration cards to all eligible beneficiary families in the State.

According to a press release issued by the Commissioner for Food and Civil Supplies Department, the Governor had directed deputy commissioners to weed out ineligible cards. — Special Correspondent
