Two more reports soon, says Veerappa Moily
Staff Correspondent
HAMPI: M. Veerappa Moily, chairman of the Administrative Reforms Commission, has said that he will submit two more reports to the Union Government on conflict resolution and terrorism before the end of the month.
Mr. Moily told presspersons here on Saturday that the commission had already submitted six reports. The seventh one pertained to the naxal menace and the eighth was on terrorism.
“The report will be submitted to the Government in 20 days,” he said and added that the ninth report would be on civil service reforms.
To a question, he said of the six reports submitted, four had been finalised by the Cabinet sub-committee headed by External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee.
It was looking into the other two reports.
Mr. Moily, who was here to deliver the 16th convocation address at the Kannada University, earlier held a meeting with Congress leaders of Bellary, Raichur and Koppal districts.
