Special buses for Pongal

TIRUCHI: The Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation will operate special buses from here to the following places from January 11 to 17 to clear rush during the Pongal season:
Chennai, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode, Madurai, Dindigul, Palani, Villupuram, Ariyalur and Jayamkondam. The Corporation has made special arrangements for the advance booking of tickets, including return tickets, in the Tiruchi- Chennai sector, at the Central Bus stand, according to a press release of the General Manager of the TNSTC, Kumbakonam division, issued here on Saturday. The TNSTC will also operate additional city buses in Tiruchi and surrounding areas during Pongal days, a release said.
