Two alleged gangs of robbers busted
NEW DELHI: Two alleged gangs of robbers have been busted by the South Delhi police in separate incidents. The police have recovered country-made revolvers, cartridges, knives, surgical blades, iron rod, torch and a jute rope from the accused.
On New Year’s night, the Okhla police arrested five persons — Vishnu, Sonu, Javed, Bunty and Bobby — when they were allegedly planning to commit robbery in the warehouse of a computer company.
On Thursday, the Badarpur police arrested five persons — Mukesh, Viru, Munna, Vinod and Manoj at a DDA park. They were allegedly planning to commit robberies in buses.
