Plea for probe into police raids

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Secretary of the Communist Marxist Party C.P. John has urged Chief Minister V. S. Achuthanandan to enquire into the alleged corruption behind police raids against software piracy. In an open letter to the Chief Minister, Mr. John alleged that heavy fines were imposed on small traders by the police and agents of Microsoft.
