CPI to initiate unity efforts

Guruvayur: The Communist Party of India will take the initiative to unite various Communist groups in the country, C.K. Chandrappan, MP, has said. He was addressing the inaugural function of the CPI district conference here on Saturday. “This does not mean merger of parties. Unity among Communist parties is essential for the country’s progress,” he said.
