Kshitij: IIT opens doors

Staff Reporter

Kochi: It is an invitation with love from Kharagpur. IIT, Kharagpur, is ready to welcome students across the country for its Kshitij 08, a techno-management festival held on the campus every year. This edition of the event will get off to a start on January 31.

Says Prabhat Kumar, core team member of the event: “Over 15,000 students had already registered for the event. We would like to have more students from places like Kerala this time.”

With over 3,000 outstation participants, ‘Kshitij’ offers students a platform to intermingle and collaborate. Mr. Kumar says that they will also get a chance to conceive and execute ideas, plans and presentations. The organisers claimed that the event would have representation from over 300 educational institutions. The best from all IITs, IIMs and NITs will converge at the Kharagpur campus.
