CHANDIGARH: Nearly 67 per cent children between the age of 0-5 years were administered polio drops under the National Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) round which was held in Haryana on Sunday, according to Health Minister Kartar Devi. She disclosed that during the three-day campaign, about 40 lakh children would be covered by visiting houses to administer polio vaccine to the left out children. She added that 15,840 booths were set up at locations convenient to the people and nearly 64,000 vaccinators were engaged to make the drive a success.
