Hubli-Dharwad
HUBLI: Five persons, including three women, were killed on the spot and seven were injured after a private bus and a truck collided at Belavatagi village near Navalgund in Dharwad district on Sunday. According to the police the accident occurred at around 10 a.m. They said that the bus was on its way to Bijapur. The truck was bearing Maharashtra registration number. The police gave the name of one of the dead as Paravva Ashok Pattar. The identity of other victims was not established. InjuredThe injured have been admitted to Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) Hospital in Hubli. The Navalgund police have registered a case.
