Municipal works inspected

Krishnagiri: Collector Santhosh Babu on Friday inspected the progress of development works being carried out in the Krishnagiri municipal area. He inspected the construction of State-of-the-art bus stand at Chinna Eri at Rs.6.78 crores, the old bus stand at Pazhayapet and instructed officials concerned to maintain it properly.

The Collector also inspected the construction of an abattoir at Rs.23 lakhs in Pazhayapet, the compost yard and the electric crematorium at Rs.45 lakhs on Thiruvunnamalai Road. The Collector also reviewed the construction of additional classrooms under the MLA constituency development fund at the municipal higher secondary school here. The Collector directed officials concerned to ensure quality in all the works.
