Entries invited for essay contest

KOTTAKKAL: The Rain Institute of Advanced Studies here will organise a State-level essay competition to promote humanitarian values and camaraderie. The topic is ‘the message of peace in Prophet’s teachings.’ The first three winners will get prizes of Rs. 25,000, Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 10,000 respectively. There will be a dozen consolation prizes. Only non-Muslims can take part. Essays in 10 pages or more can be either in English or Malayalam and should reach the Principal, Rain Institute of Advanced Studies, Sirhind Nagar, Kottakkal, Malappuram 676503 before January 20.
