C.K. Babu discharged from hospital

TIRUPATI: C.K. Babu, former Chittoor MLA who narrowly escaped an abortive bid on his life is back at his Kattamanchi residence. He was discharged on Saturday night from Vellore CMC Hospital, where he was rushed after he suffered grievous injuries in the mine attack last week.

Meanwhile, Congress workers and his followers took out a massive rally in Chittoor town amid heavy sloganeering.They submitted a memorandum each to Superintendent of Police T. Sasidhar Reddy and Collector S. S. Rawat demanding immediate arrest of the culprits behind the attack. The SP told the leaders that special teams have been formed to track down the fugitives.
